Again we longed for a pre-pandemic summer
evening in this room as we savored our meal, bun-
dled in winter coats and socially distanced from
fellow guests. Ron’s entrée featured tender
grilled filet while Mary had fresh fish; both
matched nicely with our Mendocino Pinot Noir. A
shared cheese plate and silky crème brûlée fol-
lowed. Happily, it was a short walk upstairs to our
cozy room and its glowing fire.
