IF YOU GO
Where to stay: THE OMNIA, https://www.the-
omnia.com/en/hotel. Note: Construction work
near the hotel is expected to be ongoing through
September 2024.
Getting there: Zermatt can be reached from
airports in Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Bern or Milan
by rail or car in three to five hours. In Zermatt,
only “electromobiles” are allowed, so if you’re
driving, you’ll have to leave your vehicle in
nearby Täsch. THE OMNIA can also arrange
shuttle or helicopter service to the airports, as
well as taxi transfers to and from Zermatt rail‐
way station, the car park, and heliport.
Getting around Switzerland: If you’re plan‐
ning to visit several destinations around Switzer‐
land, consider a Swiss Travel Pass.
