A Zara Quest on Barcelona’s Finest Day

Walking the Ramblas, we were ready for any mischievous squirt guns lurking amidst the vibrant crowd. It was a glorious Indian summer day—the nicest we’ve ever experienced in Barcelona. The city was lively, as always, but the crowds were manageable, making it easy to soak in the energy of the bustling streets.

Our mission? To find Zara. After a quick stop at the iconic El Corte Inglés department store for a few necessities, we continued our search. Finally, the Zara drought came to an end. Mary is now fully immersed in the Zara experience, exploring every corner of the store while I sit on a bench, penning this post.

Earlier, we took a break to enjoy an outstanding tapas lunch at Taller de Tapas in the Gothic Quarter. The flavors were rich, the atmosphere vibrant—a perfect pause in the middle of our day. Barcelona has its challenges, but on days like this, it feels just right.
